Product review: fig bars
Nature's Bakery Vanilla Raspberry Fig bars: So moist and tasty - SCORE: 5 out of 5. These are better than fig newtons. Super soft, filled with a good amount of raspberry, and great with a cup of tea. Oh, and it's 100% natural.

They're called Carmelitas
These are amazing. There is just no other way to describe them even if I tried...Okay, I'll try: caramel gooyness, creamy chocolate, buttery crust...best when warmed in the microwave for 20 secs! I want another piece. So delicious.
The next time I make these will be when I need to take a dessert somewhere. Everyone will die and beg me for the recipe. I can't have a whole batch of this at home.

Cabin fever leads to this...
I've been stuck in the house for 3 days because it's snowing and my car can't make it anywhere. And mostly because us Seattle people just don't know how to handle the snow. We're either gasping at the beauty or cursing at the inconvenience of the snow. I tried to be productive today and I feel like I have accomplished everything I could on a snow day (3rd day in a row):
- I went for a walk in my neighborhood.
- I attempted to add to the snowman that I made yesterday, but the snow was too powdery. Fail.
- I drank 2 cups of tea and 1 mug of hot coco and cuddled underneath a blanket.
- I watched a couple hours of tv and browsed Pinterest/blogs.
- I lifted some weights then took a hot shower.
- I ate my breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- And I made this:

Something I wish I didn't know about because I'm positive I will make this again.

Haram pants

Slouchy haram pants. I can appreciate this look. I really can. But I just don't see how I can incorporate this look into my everyday business wear.
I have seen some girls attempt this look. But they failed, in my opinion. They looked too forever-21-trendy.
I'll keep looking around the blog world to see if I find a success story. And I'll update this post if/when it happens.

Today I am grateful for my snow boots. I bought them 10 years ago and take them out every year, wear them once or twice, and then store them away. They still look new and do their job perfectly.

Product Review: cereal
Kellog's Krave Cereal : it's more like dessert - SCORE: 3 out of 5. I like the texture and I love the chocolate. But, this is not breakfast food for me (and I would like to assume most adults) so I would only have a small bowl of this stuff if I was craving something sweet. Like for dessert. Kids will probably love this cereal.

#1 What I am grateful for today
I need to be more grateful for things. In particular, the little things in life. Recently, I have been very grumpy and focusing a lot on that darn half empty glass. I want to change.
So here is my goal:
Sometime during my day, I will take a moment to write down something that I am grateful for. I am aiming to do this daily with the full awareness that I may skip some days...but let's remain real at first, so that this goal can stay manageable. Right?
I think this all started when I was on pinterest and I saw this:

So here I go...
Today I am grateful for having the time to boil water, brew my tea, sit down and browse the internet, all while having the whole house smell like my spicy black chai tea.
