I saw both of these movies this weekend and both are absolutely hilarious! However, if I had to pick, I would recommend Bridesmaids over Hangover 2. Why?
- I think Bridesmaids has funnier moments. Hangover 2 has more of a shock value to it...so you end up laughing out of shock.
- I was so impressed with Kristen Wiig. She's actually a fabulous actress! I don't think you realize it while watching her on SNL. And everyone had such great chemistry in the movie.
- The Hangover crew is adorable.
- Bridesmaids is absolutely NOT a chick flick. I honestly think everyone would enjoy it.

I also loved Bridesmaids! So much better than Hangover 2 which, like you say, was all about the shock value.
