i usually love everything jcrew, but i don't know about this one...
...it's a bit too 80s-prom-dress.
in a couple of years, this will be one of those dresses that will make you wonder and say "ohmygoodness why?" when you see a picture of yourself wearing it.

AGREED. Similarly, I think paying $1800 for the privilege of getting married in this number would only lead to an automatic cringe when flipping through the wedding album:
